Quartz countertops are man-made engineered stone countertops formed by combining 94% ground quartz (a natural hard mineral) with 6% resins, polymers, and pigments. This forms a very hard granite-like surface. The appearance depends on how the quartz is ground: coarsely ground quartz produces a flecked appearance, while finely ground quartz produces a smooth look.

Quartz is scratch, heat and stain resistant. Unlike natural materials such as marble, Quartz never needs to be sealed. Requiring minimum maintenance to keep it looking as good as new, the nonporous surface makes cleaning simple, with soap and water or a mild detergent is all that is needed

Offering a versatile design solution appropriate for any setting, Quartz is available in a large range of colours, with polished or honed finishes. In thicknesses of 20mm and 30mm, quartz comes in large format slabs, allowing for greater consistency in design over large spaces such as kitchen worktops.
